Data Governance Analyst

Pepsico is hiring for Data Governance Analyst

As a Data Governance Analyst at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of data governance initiatives across the organization. You will play a key role in enabling business and technical stakeholders to understand, adopt, and effectively use Informatica data governance tools such as EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog), Axon, Ref360, and IDQ (Informatica Data Quality). This role is vital in ensuring accurate, high-quality data that aligns with organizational standards and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery & Communication

• Deliver engaging training sessions on Informatica data governance tools to business and technical teams.

• Create and maintain training content (e.g., presentations, handouts, user guides) for different audiences.

• Conduct virtual and in-person training workshops and demos tailored to stakeholder needs.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather training requirements and customize learning plans.

• Provide post-training support, answer inquiries, and ensure training effectiveness through feedback.

Tool Expertise

• Maintain deep knowledge of Informatica tools (EDC, Axon, Ref360, IDQ) to enable data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality assessments.

• Assist in tool usage for implementing data governance frameworks across teams.

Content Development & Maintenance

• Update training documentation and resources regularly based on stakeholder feedback and software updates.

• Integrate best practices and latest product enhancements into training materials.

Collaboration & Facilitation

• Partner with data management, analytics, and IT teams to align training and governance practices.

• Facilitate workshops and forums to promote data governance understanding and culture.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management.

• Strong expertise in Informatica tools such as EDC, Axon, Ref360, IDQ.

• Experience in training program development and delivery.

• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering capabilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management tools.

Preferred:

• Informatica certifications (IDQ, Axon, etc.).

• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management.

• Experience with instructional design and adult learning methodologies.

• Prior leadership or project management experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $70,700 - $118,400 (depending on location, skills, and experience).
