Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take on the role of the key point of contact for customers by offering a friendly welcome, addressing queries, and guiding them to the desired items.
  • Examine and receive deliveries, meticulously checking items for precision and excellence before storing products in the backroom or showcasing them on the retail floor.
  • Organize the display of goods in line with the prescribed plan-o-grams, regularly interchange products to keep them fresh, and ensure a well-maintained and visually pleasing sales space.
  • Create and sustain appealing product exhibits and promotional installations to enrich the retail environment and increase sales.
  • Utilize cash registers and point-of-sale systems to accurately process customer transactions, encompassing the handling of cash, credit cards, and alternative payment options.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store through consistent housekeeping activities like sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitization, stockroom organization, and the disposal of trash and recycling.
  • Aid in managing inventory by performing stock checks, documenting inconsistencies, and placing orders for products through handheld scanners or similar resources available within the organization.
  • Comply with corporate regulations, safety criteria, and anti-theft protocols to preserve company valuables and uphold a secure shopping atmosphere for both clients and workers.

Qualifications:

  • It is preferred that candidates possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and effective communication techniques, devoted to delivering top-notch customer service.
  • Essential numerical competencies needed for cash management and register functions.
  • Skill in interpreting and executing merchandising directives, plan-o-grams, and operational protocols.
  • Trustworthy and timely, demonstrating the skill to perform well independently or collaboratively in a high-speed retail atmosphere.
  • Capability to carry out manual activities like lifting objects, standing for prolonged periods, and relocating merchandise.

Work Environment:
